identical twin that
were born from one individual sperm are know to be very closed with
each other. And they can develop their own language! Which only they
are the one who will be able to understand. In other words, it's
their secret language, a form of communication known only to them.
Terms such as idioglossia, autonomous language or cryptophasia
describe the phenomenon of twin language, a fascinating concept that
has intrigued researchers and parents alike.
Because twins spend
so much time together from birth, and because their mental and
linguistic development is so in sync, they are especially likely to
invent their own language to the exclusion of everyone – parents
and peers alike. Cryptophasia is thought to occur among almost 50% of
twins (both identical and fraternal).
